GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No.19/2019-Central Tax (Rate)

The Ministry of Finance (Department of revenue) on 30thSep 2019 had issued a notification no 19/2019 Central Tax (Rate) which is to come in force from 1st October 2019 by which it is notified that the goods supplied to the Food and agriculture Organization of the United Nation (FAO) for execution of projects as listed in the annexure are exempted from the Central Tax. However, such exemption is subject to the condition that any officer above or is the rank of Deputy Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare certifies,
i. Description of goods
ii. Quantity of goods
iii. That such goods are intended for use in execution of projects.
